Newton Abbott was added to the third alarm for a FAST assignment, as multiple companies were operating inside a two-story wood frame building, that had several additions. While Newton Abbott was arriving on scene, the FAST from Evans Center went to work placing extra ladders, enabling a crew from Scranton to leave a roof area that was rapidly becoming untenable due to fire conditions.
